Is that the same room, you say? Yes, I answer. The very same. We just did some minor modifications to it. The director said she needed a white room, so we gave her one. She helped build it though. Anyway, it turned out pretty awesome. People worked hard and we finished it on time. Got some really cool footage from it as well, as you can see from the teaser in one of the previous posts.
You might wonder how we did it all. Well, I'll tell you. Just find some old wood, get hold of some free paint, collect some favors from loyal friends and Bob's your uncle!
"Spirer etter torden" is the title of a short film being produced at the University of Bergen this fall. This blog will be used to publish teasers and behind-the-scenes material from the film, as well as recruiting people that are interested in helping out with the production. Help is especially needed to find suitable cast, locations and props. We are also looking for voluntary production assistants. The finished short film will be published towards the end of December.
To escape from their parents neverending quarrel, Nina and her litte brother Jo create an imaginary world where model airplanes use flowers as amunition and broken kites are healed with magic dust. The childrens fairytale takes plase inside an architectual model, which their parents are constantly working on and regard as the ultimate future home. When the intrigues of real life still surpass the virtue of creativity, Nina finds it hard to protect her brother with the fragile shield that is their creativity.
